The Environmental Professionalization Group is made up of the members of the former ETH-Human Environmental Interaction Unit (Mensch-Umwelt-Beziehungen) that was led by Prof. Mieg from 1998 until 2004.
At present, the Environmental Professionalization Group is not active. There is a practical introduction to expert interviews given by Prof. Mieg every summer. He also tutors diploma and master theses (see Education).
9/05: Tobias Schröder, diploma student of Prof. Mieg, has been awarded the Humboldt-Prize for his diploma thesis on "Contingent Valuation in Traffic Planning: The Impact of Perceived Justice on Willingness to Pay and Willingness to Accept"
10/07: Bastien Girod, diploma student of Prof. Mieg, has been awarded the Walter-Schneider-Prize for his diploma thesis on "Where is the Business-as-Usual Scenario? Research on the changing Logic of the IPCC Scenarios"
